Welcome to the mountains of Western NC! Or as we call it, Bearadise! Our cabin is child friendly, (and infant friendly) as well as pet friendly!
A HOT TUB (professionally maintained twice a week) sits on one of two porches with long range Mountain Views. The house is private and surrounded by nature and woods. A third porch, off the loft, overlooks the fenced backyard, firepit area, and beautiful trees.
The main level features a large open concept kitchen with a separate kids play area. There is also a double-sided wood burning fireplace in the living room and master bedroom. Board Games in the cabinet for those rainy days!
The basement is complete with a gameroom with pool table, air hockey, pacman, foosball, skee-ball & more! Queen Sleeper Sofa with an upgraded mattress for the extra sleeping space!
Don’t miss you favorite sports games with DirectTV service (including ESPN!) on the large HD TV’s in the living room and gameroom.
And don’t forget the grill on the large front porch with plenty of seating, or the fire pit out back!

The Kitchen
The kitchen is stocked with all of the basics for enjoying coffee in the morning and cooking. Coffee pot, coffee, cream and sugar individuals (to get you by for a couple days), as well as pots/pans, utensils, dishes, pyrex, a big Berkey water filter, air fryer, toaster, blender, electric water kettle, and other standard kitchen appliances are available. We provide salt, pepper, and cooking oil, but recommend that you bring the specific things you need to make your recipes, such as spices, etc. Or, reach out with any needs or questions you have!
A high chair and pack n play are also available. Please reach out if you are travelling with an infant or small child, as we may have other items to help you pack and travel lighter.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire property.
This includes the 3 outside porches, Weber propane grill, hot tub, the basement gameroom, the fenced backyard with fire pit, and double sided wood burning fireplace. Board Games in the kitchen cabinets.
Other Things to Note
Our cabin is professionally cleaned and sanitized after each guest stay by a professional cleaner.
The cabin is equipped with smoke and CO2 detectors outside bedrooms and on all levels for your safety.
We do provide firewood for the fireplace and firepit, as well as propane for the grill.
Basement contains a queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded mattress.
Rosman is centrally located: 15 minutes to Brevard and < 1 hr from Asheville, The Highlands, and Ski Resorts. Short drive to Lake Jocasse and Lake Toxaway and close proximity to fishing, hiking, camping, and more!
Security cameras are in place, but only cover the exterior of the property. These include the front, sides, and rear of the property, including a doorbell camera. They DO NOT cover any interior part of the house nor the hot tub area to protect your privacy. They are always on and recording and serve to protect the property and your safety/privacy.

Board games are located in the kitchen nook green armoire. A separate kids play area is off the kitchen as well.

Streaming is available through our new Sony OLED TVs (Android) and Apple TVs.
For Babies & Kids
Play Area
Your children will enjoy a stocket Pottery Barn play kitchen, grocery cart, coloring table, train set, and other miscellanous toys.
Pack n' Play/Baby Gear
A pack n’ Play is located in the master bedroom laundry room with a crib sheet inside the cover.
A Bumbo (for floor use) and a baby gate are stored in the pantry.
Rocking Chair/Highchair
Both are located in the kitchen to make your stay easier if traveling with your little ones.
Safety
The yard is fully fenced. Please check that gates are closed for the safety of your pets and young children.
Please cover the hot tub after each use to prevent injury.
Winter Weather Warning:
We’d love for you to visit us on the mountain! However, your safety is our top priority so please read the following: In winter months, 4WD is strongly recommended, as we cannot predict snow, sleet, or freeze events. While the HOA is responsible for clearing the winding roads to the house, we cannot guarantee timing of such. Additionally, the last mile (mostly gravel with minimal asphalt) is not cleared by the HOA. It is fairly level until you reach the asphalt before our steep driveway.
The driveway is STEEP and 50-75 yards long with a turn. We will do our best to have it cleared for your arrival but cannot guarantee it (reliable service on the mountain can be difficult). In normal conditions, 2WD is just fine for navigating the driveway (I’ve even towed uhaul trailers with 2WD). During your stay, we cannot guarantee clearing or salting of the driveway, but we will do our best.
There is an option to park at the bottom of the driveway after unloading, but we understand this is not ideal and will be very tiring (especially the walk up). Please choose what is best for you and your guests, and avoid either when dark.
If you feel unsafe at any point during or before your stay due to winter weather conditions, we will gladly reschedule you or refund unused nights. We want you to be safe and happy. Please understand that used nights and the cleaning fee cannot be refunded, as we pay that fee regardless.
